杨铭仪，四川乐山人，1931年4月生。自幼酷爱书画，1948年去台湾，1954年毕业于黄埔军校二十五期，后在军队服役，业余以书画自娱。1965年拜张大千为师，为嫡传弟子，并得黄君壁指教。1973年退役在日本、新加坡等地作画、讲学，1975年绕道日本回四川定居成都。擅花鸟，多以泼墨泼彩法为之，淋漓恣肆，色彩明丽，气韵生动。作品多次入选国内外大型书画作品展览，并在《北京周报》、《中国老年》、 ，或为中国美术馆及博物馆、纪念馆收藏。
