Ink and colour on fan paper, each mounted as a sheet. The first depicting grasshopper and butterfly amongst chrysanthemums in full bloom. Signed Chen Chongguang, with a dedication and anartist seal. The second fan depicting a sailing boat in front of continuos mountain in the backgroud. Signed Chen Chongguang, with a dedication an artist seal. Both with a collector seal "Chen Yisheng." Fan width: 52.8 cm (20 3/4 in.) and 49.8 cm (19 5/8 in.) The first one with an old mounting, having overall spotting surface dirt, creasing and water damage, the image with overall surface wear and tears, especially to the folds, having minor surface dirt and area of yellow staining and one loss to the bottom. The other with overall discoloration and dark brown spotting. General surface dirt, and tears, and wear along the folds. One small loss to the right side.
