Most of the artworks produced by the company followed the Greek style fashionable at the time. His pieces were exhibited at the 1850 and 1853 Salons, having achieved enormous success for their originality and excellent manufacture quality.CAHIEUX dies victim of cholera in 1854, aged 29, having however achieved a last posthumous success at the Paris 1855 Universal Exhibition, where his lamps for BARBEDIENNE are awarded a Medal of Honour.
