Rashid Ahamad (b. 1987)Expectation Acrylic on Canvas. 76 x 101.5 cm (30 x 40 in). The Artist: Raashid Ahamad (b.1987, Delhi) received his degree from I.G.D. Bombay, BA & BFA in fine art from the University of Allahabad and an MFA in Painting from the College of Art in Delhi. He received First Prize in Painting Competition Basant Bihari, Swatantra Chetna Laudable Talents, Honor and Best Landscape Award (Srijan Sanwad Pradarshan) of the University of Allahabad. He has actively partaken in several group shows, workshops and art camps in India, and participated in International Saarc Artist Camp in Sri Lanka.
