Late Dynastic Period, Ca. 664-332 BC.A fine set of three mould-formed faience amulets depicting Sons of Horus. Each is mummiform, shown right facing, covered in lustrous blue glaze, and pierced at the head and at feet for attachment to mummy wrappings. The 4 Sons of Horus, protectors of the organs of the deceased are the human-headed Imsety, the jackal-headed Duamutef, the baboon-headed Hapy, and the falcon-headed Qebhsenuef. Cf.
