Ca. 1200-700 BC.A collared bronze mace head comprising a tubular socket featuring protruding pyramidal spikes around its exterior forming an 'X'. Excellent condition. Cavalry shaft-mounted weapons like battle hammers, maces, and axes were often very small and mounted on long handles.
