铭文：|平桃作别烟。孟臣。（壶底） 贡局（口沿） |“贡局”是清代宜兴紫砂壶上的款识。本世纪30年代李景康、张虹编《阳羡砂壶图考》“贡局壶”条记载：“考林古度为冯本卿作《陶宝肖像歌》有‘荆溪陶正司陶复’之句，可知阳羡贡局已创于明代。细考传器，各色泥质俱备，壶底或刻字，或印，或只年号，或用“贡局”二字，亦有仅用一‘局’字者。” 壶钮、盖沿、口沿、圈足、壶嘴均包金边，可见藏者珍之。
