Description THREE CLOISONNÉ DISHES DEPICTING CRANES, MEIJIJapan, Meiji period (1868-1912). The three cloisonné dishes with polychrome enamels and copper wire, the rims decorated with florals sprays, each dish depicting cranes amid a variety of flowers and blossoming sprays, the backsides with copper wire scroll. Two dishes with a metal mounting for suspension on a wall.Condition: With traces of wear and minor losses to the enamels, surface scratches, typical firing flaws, and pitting, one plate with thin cracks, overall still good condition.
