此件玉鹿为和阗灰白玉圆雕而成，质地细腻润泽，宝光熠熠，局部带有褐色沁斑。小鹿作跪卧状，身形健硕圆浑，头部向前直视，四肢蜷曲于腹下，臀部隆起。头顶灵芝角，双耳立起，橄榄形眼，尖嘴闭口，口中衔一莲枝，莲叶从身体一侧弯曲翘起，另一边衔有一朵灵芝，细节皆以阴线琢刻。整体造型优美雅致，动物肌肉骨骼之微妙细节雕饰精准到位，生动传神，具有极强的艺术感染力，宋元时期风格鲜明，堪为中古玉雕动物精品，值得收藏。
