Attributed Carl Barromaus Andreas Ruthart (German, 1630-1703). Oil on canvas painting depicting two deer in a wooded landscape. The painting has an illegible monogram along the lower left quadrant that is only visible under UV.Sight; height: 9 3/4 in x width: 8 in. Framed; height: 13 3/4 in x width: 12 in.品相报告: The painting is in good condition overall with no major cracks, losses, or restoration. The surface is stable. All margins have a stretcher bar mark, most noticeable along the upper margin. To the upper left quadrant, there is a very thin horizontal line of paint loss. The paint is rubbed against the frame to the extreme edge of the lower left corner. To the lower margin, there is a possible restoration to below the buck when inspected under UV light. There is an initial "F.S" visible under UV light to the lower left quadrant, visible in the lot listing. All four corners have paint loss where the painting rubs against the frame. There is craquelure started to form along the sky. Inspected out of frame. Wear to the frame. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
