Fu, Lu, and Shou, large porcelain statues of the gods of the three stars, each with underglaze blue decoration, Fu holding scroll, Lu holding ruyi scepter with detachable headdress accents, and Shou holding peach and scepter, largest 20-3/4 x 8-1/2 in.Note: William Joseph Roache and his family moved from Australia to Hong Kong in the early 1960s. He was employed as an Agronomist, and his job took him out into the Chinese countryside. In these travels, he purchased Chinese art, typically porcelains, from locals and shops.
