possibly Ming dynasty, with ridged texture on underside, interior with floral design within banding, banding along shoulder, 3 x 13-1/4 in.; with overall floral pattern, pattern continues onto underside, base with mark within double circle, 2-1/2 x 11-3/8 in. Note: William Joseph Roache and his family moved from Australia to Hong Kong in the early 1960s. He was employed as an Agronomist, and his job took him out into the Chinese countryside. In these travels, he purchased Chinese art, typically porcelains, from locals and shops. Mr. Roache then moved to Singapore in the late 1960s and continued his passion for collecting.
