comprising: with four character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor, design of dragons, banding, and leaf decoration, 3-3/4 x 5 in.; short cup with overall floral design, bats and banding on underside, scalloped edge, 2-3/8 x 5-1/2 in.; vase with bulbous body, landscape scene, banding on mouth, 3-7/8 x 4-7/8 in. Note: William Joseph Roache and his family moved from Australia to Hong Kong in the early 1960s. He was employed as an Agronomist, and his job took him out into the Chinese countryside. In these travels, he purchased Chinese art, typically porcelains, from locals and shops. Mr. Roache then moved to Singapore in the late 1960s and continued his passion for collecting.
