With the clean design of its case and the faceted tear drop lugs, the 4768 presents a very different appearance to its sporty cousin the 6036. The two references used the Valjoux 72C calibre movement and production of the pair appears to have occurred in tandem for a short period in the late 1940s and 1950s. Few examples of reference 4768 were made, making this a desirable watch for today's collectors.
