Signed and dated by Bukowski in silver ink on front free endpaper: "Charles Bukowski/5-26-63". Introduction by John William Corrington. Original hand-bound stiff printed wrappers; in original stiff printed dust-jacket with cork-lined front panel; text leaves printed in letterpress on variously colored and sized paper stocks. "3 00" added; all edges trimmed; text leaves variously toned.A scarce andplete set of Jon and Louise "Gypsy Lou" Webb's highly influential counter-culture literary magazine The Outsider. Published in only five issues between 1961-69, this short-lived magazine is a showcase of the 60s literary avant-garde, and is particularly remembered for bringing national attention to the work of Los Angeles poet and author Charles Bukowski. Other towering literary and artistic figures of the era are featured, including, William S.
