The pair of cinnabar lacquer vases are of baluster form, carved on the surface with peony flower blossom within roundal, against chrysanthemum flower patterns, bottom and interior lacquered in black, four character YONGZHENG reign mark on the bottom.|||Height: 1 1/2 in (3.8 cm) Diameter: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm)|雍正年製款 剔紅漆牡丹菊花紋瓶一對|撇口、束頸、折肩、鼓腹、圈足外撇。內壁施白漆，外壁施多層紅漆，釉色鮮亮。在紅色的地上剔出花紋，紋飾繁縟。口沿、頸及肩部為如意雲頭紋、菊花紋、蕉葉紋，花卉紋，腹部有兩如意形開光，以鏤空花卉紋隔開，開光內刻牡丹山石紋。脛部飾菊瓣紋裝飾帶。足部飾如意組合紋飾。足底刻“雍正年製”四字二行楷書款。
