late 18th/early 19th century, with an hinged cover, two loose metal handles, standing on four Buddhist lion feet, decorated in gold lacquer with various scenes of figures in tea preparation, inside three rooms, set in houses and in a landscape with trees and buildings, all within a border of six dragons chasing flaming pearls, the sides similarly decorated, the interior with ivory fitments, comprising thimbles, needles, reels etc. with, two boxes with lacquer covers,
