Pair of George V silver candlesticks, each with bead-edged detachable socket and plain cylindrical column on beaded spreading square base, Sheffield 1912, sponsor's mark of Henry Wigfull, 13cm high, (loaded), (2)There is perhaps a slight lean to both sticks, but only very slight. The sconces are detachable, they are a little bent out of shape and do not have a flat top anymore. With the sconces removed, both sticks have had a knock to the top of the columns. The base corners are a little rounded and at least one corner certainly shows signs of having had a knock. The silver does have some scratches and small nicks, which is noticeable on the plain areas and heavier around the bases. Some loss of definition to the decoration from polishing. Hallmarks are a little worn but clear.
