A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED MINIATURE VASE, MEIPING, QING DYNASTYChina, 18th-19th century. The tapering sides rising to rounded shoulders, surmounted by a short waisted neck. The exterior covered with a rich and finely crackled glaze of crushed strawberry with lavender-blue and mushroom streaks extending to the interior of the mouth, the base unglazed revealing the buff body.Provenance: From a private collection in Massachusetts, USA.Condition: Good condition with minor wear, small chips to the foot, glaze flaking, and manufacturing flaws including glaze recesses, open bubbles, pitting, and pottery lines.
