A SMALL AND RARE FAMILLE ROSE ‘CORMORANT FISHING’ BOWL, TONGZHI MARK AND PERIODChina, 1861-1875. The deep rounded sides supported on a short foot and rising to a flared rim. Decorated in bright enamels with a sampan emerging from rocks and bamboo, carrying a fisherman and a lady, the reverse with two fishermen on bamboo rafts fishing with the help of cormorants.
