A LARGE ARCHAISTIC GOLD AND SILVER-INLAID BRONZE VASE, HU, QING DYNASTYChina, 18th-19th century. The pear-shaped body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck and flaring rim, flanked by a pair of archaistic phoenix handles with notched flanges, the body and neck each cast with a band enclosing taotie masks divided by short flanges, the lower body with pendent stiff leaves enclosing stylized confronting phoenixes, all reserved on leiwen grounds, highlighted with gold and silver inlays. The recessed base incised with a six-character mark. Rich patina with malachite encrustations and cuprite splashes.Inscriptions: To the base, ‘Bei [...] zuo bao zun yi'.Provenance: Philadelphia trade.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and casting irregularities including minimal stress cracks with associated tiny losses. Note the similar size (39.3 cm).清代錯金銀獸面紋銅壺中國，十八至十九世紀。盤口，束頸溜肩，垂腹，下承外撇盤口，高圈足。頸部兩側各飾一，兩側是一對出戟仿古鳳凰耳，身體和頸部各有雷紋地饕餮紋；腰下蕉葉紋，雷紋地鳳鳥紋。錯金銀。圈足内有六個字款。豐富的銅綠，帶有孔雀石色和紅色結殼鏽斑。款識：貝？作寳尊彜
