本品敞口浅弧腹圈足，器型周正，线条优美，胎质坚白，通体施胭脂水釉，釉色莹亮，红如鸡血。胭脂水釉为一种低温油，为清代康熙年间创烧之新品种，雍正时烧造最为精致，以后各代均有烧造，因其以黄金为着色剂（0.5-0.6%）亦称金红釉釉汁细腻，光润匀净，色如胭脂，故而得名，因其用料昂贵，烧成条件严苛，极为珍贵，所以，胭脂水釉均为官窑产品。底书；大清光绪年制六字楷书款。
