Description Russian gilt silver and enameled cigarette case. Marked with an 84 Kokoshnik and a maker's mark along two sides. Engraved along the interior of the case in Cyrillic.Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Condition Report The item is in good condition in general with no major losses, cracks, or visible dents. Light wear throughout. Throughout the piece, there are scattered areas of enamel loss. There are several white enamels that are discolored light yellow. Light oxidation as expected. Along the interior, there is adhesive residue as shown in the listing image. No visible sign of restoration when inspected under UV light. The case opens smoothly and clasps well.
