|晚明时由于宜兴仿钧窑已有相当的知名度。明人谷应泰《博物要览》亦载：近年新烧，皆宜兴砂土为胎，釉水微似，制有佳者，但不耐用。从传世品来看，明代的宜兴窑釉色往往不够均匀，而至清代，其则可与景德镇官窑窑变釉瓷器相媲美。此种宜钧器型传世极为罕见。
