|此物呈一舒放内卷的荷叶，形成象生型笔舔，叶边内卷，巧成笔舔，浅刻荷叶筋脉，内高浮雕青蛙，伏于荷叶之上，平添荷塘情趣，整物形态小巧可爱。笔舔内高浮雕螃蟹，伏于荷叶之上，平添荷塘情趣。|笔舔，在清朝属文具小九件之一，还包括有：笔筒、水呈、笔架、墨床、印盒、糨糊盒、镇纸等。乾隆时期最为盛行。|此器构思与雕工堪称精巧，造型鲜活生动，气息清新，文气十足，堪为文房妙品。
