此对牛首玉质大部受沁，纹饰雷同，呈片状，正牛首面，双牛角弯曲对称，纹饰简单，以阴刻线饰双目，呆萌古拙，下部中央有一小穿孔，可做穿系。牛是最早被人类驯服的牲畜，被称为「六畜之首」，伴随着农耕文化的发展，人们称牛为「仁畜」，甚至誉为「神牛」，牛文化也在中华民族的历史长河中不断地被创造与书写，在玉器文化中也多有体现。整对牛首古意盎然，雕琢细致，纹饰生动。 来源：台湾藏家珍藏
