A Chinese brown patinated bronze tripod censer, made for the Islamic market, mark of Zhengde but possibly later, of squat circular form with stepped and everted rim, the body with three ruyi shaped panels of Arabic script, raised on three lobed scroll feet, cast six-character mark of Zhengde to base, weight 3221.5g, height 11.1cm, diameter 25.5cm.
