Description The vessel of slightly tapered cylindrical form with two upright loop handles at the shoulder, the exterior decorated with bands of geometric and linear ornament in low relief; the basin of slightly spreading circular form with wide flared lip, the interior bottom cast with two fish, the base of the exterior with a band of stylized figures, the underside centered by a star, with a similar band of figures and flying birds encircling it, mottled verdigris patina(H: 8 1/4 in.; 5 3/4 in.; Dia: 7 1/2 in.; 16 in.)PROVENANCE:Property from the collection of James R.
