Ca. 1500-1600 AD. A gold posy ring featuring a plain, thin band, which is adorned on the inside with a romantic inscription that conveyed sentiments of love and commitment. The exterior of the ring is adorned with a five-petaled flower, which symbolized purity and innocence.
