A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN RICE GRAIN BOWLS, KANGXI MARK, LATE QING DYNASTY. Each bowl decorated in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels with a band of 'rice grain pattern outlined to the exterior with floral scrolls. Lotus leaf lappets around the base detailed in gilt and a crane in lotus pond and bats to the interior. Six-character marks of Kangxi, both on circular stands similarly decorated with Shou characters and Buddhist emblems; Together with a separate pair of teacup covers each with six-character mark of Kangxi. Bowls approx. 12.5cm diam. (6)Minute chip to one bowl. Otherwise bowls and stands in good overall condition with no further cracks, chips or signs of repairs.
