TWO CHINESE GILT-BRONZE CLOISONNÉ STEM CUPS Qing Dynasty 清 銅胎掐絲琺瑯「壽」字紋高足盃兩件 Each cup modelled with rounded sides supported by cylindrical stem terminating in a gently-splayed foot, the exterior decorated with archaistic taotie mask designs interspersed with circular panels enclosing shou characters, all above a band of ruyi and petal lappets, the stem decorated with prunus flowerheads borne from scrolling stems, all on a bright turquoise ground, 8cm diameter, 7.4 - 7.9cm high (2) - PROVENANCE: Private London collection 來源: 倫敦私人收藏 - An identical cloisonné stem cup, Qianlong mark and of the period, is illustrated by Albert Lutz and Helmut Brinker in 'Chinese Cloisonne: The Pierre Uldry Collection', 1989, Asia Society Galleries, and is in the collection of the Museum Rietberg, Zurich, no. 262.
