Description: A Chinese jadeite jade figures of a pair of Phoenix, each upon openwork rockery bases, raised on matched wood stands.

Size: excluding stand 10.75", 27.20 cm.

Provenance: From a Westmount Home.

Condition Report: A pair of jadeite phoenixes the feathers to the reverse of both birds in the lower portion of the wings could have been chipped and polished down. The base of one of the birds appears to have on an anomalous edge which suggests possible damage which has been polished down, however this area on that bird fits perfectly with the stand as it is, so any damage would have to have happened prior to the stands being made. Natural fissures and inclusions observed. PLEASE REQUEST ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OR A CONDITION REPORT AS NEEDED.
