Description: A terracotta red Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot and lid. Classic form, circular shouldered with an undecorated surface. Incised calligraphy and impressed 4 character seal type mark on concave base. 2 impressed seal type marks on the interior of the lid.

Size: 5 1/2", 14 cm.

Provenance: From the Jennings Collection, Asheville, North Carolina. Acquired over a ten-year span.
