铜释迦摩尼坐像中国，明朝释迦摩尼大耳阔面，双目低垂，身着袈裟，结跏趺坐于莲花座上，左手置于腿上，右手结触地印。有老化痕迹及鎏金残留，局部有损伤。高37 cm。可比柏林东亚艺术博物馆馆藏编号ID36818一尊如来佛坐像及纽约佳士得2018年3月释出一尊药师佛坐像（Lot 637），两者尺寸均略小于本拍品。来自南德私人收藏。A LARGE BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF SHAKYAMUNIChina, Ming Dynasty Bronze. H. 37 cm. Shakyamuni is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, with the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the left hand in dhyana mudra. The figure is dressed in robe with finely chased floral patterns along the hems. With traces of age and gilding, partially damaged. Comparable to a seated figure of Tathagata-Buddha (ID36818) in the collection of the Museum of Asian Art in Berlin and a seated figure of Medicine Buddha (Lot 637) sold at Christie's New York in March 2018, both are slightly smaller in size than this lot.
