Chinese, 20th century, engraved with bird and flowers, shoulao (god of longevity) with a deer and a bat, birds under pine trees, and calligraphy in four panels, with a custom hardwood carvedstand. The engraved calligraphy implies this silver stemmed bowl was a Birthday gift that late Qing dynasty official and Hong Kong businessman LiBaokui 李葆葵 (1870-?) gave to Sir Shouson Chow 周寿臣 (1861-1959).
