DescriptionA TIANHUANG SOAPSTONE CARVED SEAL BY ZHAO WEI, JIAQING PERIOD, DATED TO 1807 The top of the seal is carved with ruyi cloud patterns and signed Zhao Wei (1746-1825), inscribed and dated to the August of the twelfth year of Jiaqing (1807) on the side. 清 嘉慶 田黄扁章 嘉庆十二年（1807）八月赵魏 (1746-1825) 刻 趙魏（1746-1852），清書畫家，金石學家，藏書家。字格用，號晉齋，一號菉森。仁和（今浙江杭州）人。康熙中歲貢生。曾於乾隆六十年約至嘉慶二年（1795-1797）在阮元幕府阻其校訂《山左金石志》，《七經孟子考文》，並輯《兩浙金石志》等。為張廷濟（1768—1848）的金石知己。 Provenance: Duo Yunxuan, Shanghai, 09/07/2007, lot 1719.品相报告: Condition ReportOverall in good condition
