拍品属乾隆霁红釉发色纯正之作。造型隽雅挺阔，端庄周正，修胎规整，胎体细腻缜密。内里无釉，外壁所施霁红釉，釉层均匀，口留有一线白边，是为釉汁高温熔融流淌所致，且发色纯正，极为难得。
此种于元、明、清时期流行，造型与高足碗颇为相似，较之略大，中空底足分为封底和不封两种。
本品形制周正，胎釉精良，发色妍丽，是为乾隆御窑佳品。
