DescriptionAntique, Qing dynasty, Sino-Tibetan finely detailed gilt bronze seated Tara figure, body seated in crossed leg position with hands in mudra, elaborately adorned with robes, jewels, belts, and pendulous ears with large elaborate earrings with facial features in meditative state and adorned with third eye, incised hairstyle with top knot with finial in paneled crown in leaf from containing Buddhist images, seated atop fine double lotus base with beaded border unopened copper base incised with Varja; overall good condition, age wear, surface wear, surface soiling; L 5" x H 8" (Approx.)
