DescriptionAntique, Qing dynasty, Sino-Tibetan gilt copper alloy seated Tara figure with hands in mudra, body adorned with beaded jewelry and hair ornaments mounted with turquoise cabochons, left hand holding lotus stem extending to shoulder with blossoming lotus flower (loss to flower blossom), incised hairstyle with top knot and finial behind crown, right leg extended off base atop flowering lotus pod, multilayers lotus base between beaded borders above central incised four-petal flowers, back of base with extensive three-line inscription, base covered with oxidized copper and incised varja fully gilded; overall good condition, age wear, surface wear, surface soiling; L 5" x H 9" (Approx.)
