DescriptionAntique, 19th century, Chinese finely carved jadeite covered chain vase in wonderful coloration ranging from sage green, darker tone green, and areas of bright emerald green; body decorated in archaic style with taotie masks above acanthus leaves with key fret border separating the two; all framed around a ribbed edge, the shoulders with finely detail qilin in high relief chasing their way upward, neck similarly detailed with acanthus leaves flanked by ruyi form shoulders supporting loose rings, qilin connected with seven loose rings marrying matching cover; cover, neck, and foot all with key fret border design, all supported on deeply carved foot; accompanied by carved openwork stand; overall good condition; Without Base L 6" x H 10" (Approx.)
