陈大章，1930年9月出生于北京书画世家，自幼酷爱丹青。国画创作早期以人物为主，后以画山水、松、竹、梅著称于世。任中国美术家协会会员、工艺美术学会理事、中国名人协会理事，中华和平统一促进会理事、北京海峡两岸书画家联谊会会长、文化部老艺术家书画社社长、中国书画函授大学教授，北京唐风美术馆高级顾问，特约艺术家等。2015年3月30日，陈大章在京逝世，享年85岁。
