本器由白玉細琢而成，玉質清透潤澤，局部受沁帶一點褐斑，保存良好。造型大方典雅，鈎首雕琢為龍首造型，龍角與吻部突出，富有立體感。器表正面輾琢勾連雲紋，排列整齊。側邊紋飾刻畫華麗，由雲紋與網紋組合成美輪美奐的花朵形紋，紋飾設計獨具匠心。鈎端平整，鈎紐為扁方，琢工精細，相當別緻。 本器由紋飾推斷應為戰國南方作品，南方楚國紋飾風格華麗，網紋、花朵形紋都是楚式玉雕特色之一。相較於北方玉雕的沉穩大器，南方玉雕則較為靈動華美，線條刻畫細膩，絲絲入扣
