A Japanese verte-Imari rosewater sprinkler, Edo period, 19th century, painted in underglaze blue and enamelled and gilt with iron red and green with panels of birds and flowers on the lower body, the conical neck flanked with a pair of circular loop handles at its base and with further floral panels, 28cm high  Condition Report: 品相報告Some chipping to mouth; expected surface wear with some rubbing to enamels and gilt. One of the loop handles has been off and restuck with a shallow surface chip at the join.
