A Lampung ceremonial textile, Tampan, South Sumatra, 19th/20th century, woven with threads in ochre and black on a cream ground with key fret pattern in shape of lozenge, mounted on a stretched dark canvas, the textile 58.3 x 56.3cm   蘇門答臘十九 - 二十世紀 楠榜禮儀掛飾織錦c.f. Tampan were used by all social classes in Lampung for various occasions, exchanged at both birth and death and at marriages, for the purpose of ritual consecration.    Condition Report: 品項報告Loosening and fraying of threads.
