A pair of Dutch Delft blue and white vases and covers, last quarter 19th century, underglaze blue mark for Joost Thooft, each of hexagonal baluster form, decorated with reserves depicting Dutch river scenes surrounded by floral and trellis designs, the covers having lion with shield finials, 40cm high (2) Condition Report: The cover of one vase has a section which has been broken off and re-attached in an amateur fashion with some small losses. The associated vase also has two hairline cracks to the rim. Each vase has noticeable crazing to the whole.
