An English porcelain slop bowl, possibly Spode, early 19th century, decorated in the Imari palette with a flowering vase to the interior centre and border of gilded scrolling foliage against a blue backdrop interspersed with flowers and roundels of scales, the exterior with a similar border above a pink marbled ground and foot with plain gilded band, unmarked to underside, 19.5cm diameter Condition Report: Overall in good decorative order. The porcelain with a couple of firing marks and wear to the foot with a couple of minor losses, the decoration to the centre with some scratches and wear to gilding, the rim with some wear to gilding and loss of colour, no chips or cracks or signs of restoration detected.
