A George IV mahogany chest, attributed to Gillows, first quarter 19th century, with three short over three long graduated drawers, raised on bun feet, the top central drawer inscribed JB Thornton in pencil to the underside, 108cm high, 118cm wide, 56cm deepProvenance: lot 614 from the Wormington Grange sale at Duke's auction 12/5/21 Condition Report: Left side panel has scratches and old gouges, the top has a large old gouge and some stains, right side have a split that has been filled and some small dents, all locks are missing, looks to have been recently polished and touched up as it is quite clean, overall very good condition
