A mahogany and oak display-cabinet of rectangular form, last quarter 19th century, with some 17th century elements, with moulded dentil and acanthus leaf cornice, the base rim carved with scale-pattern decoration, the oak three-panel front carved in relief with mythological figures in ovals within strapwork borders flanked by winged term figures, possibly from a 17th century Italian Cassone, the plinth base with volutes, 210cm high, 174cm wide, 56cm deep
