A POLYCHROME NAL WARE CERAMIC VESSELIndus Valley, Pakistan, Nal culture (c. 3100-2700 BC). The globular body with two loop handles, supported on a waisted foot and rising to a short, everted lip. Decorated with a dark-brown and red geometric frieze of straight and wavy lines. Condition: Good condition with expected age-related wear, and repaired breakages to the foot and handles. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent. Weight: 965 g Dimensions: Height 16.5 cm, inner diameter 15 cm
