|香炉为古代室内陈设品，清宫常于炉内燃烧香料，以达收心宁神，驱逐异味之效。又可以凭借袅袅上升的香烟，营造出一种空远寥廓的境界，获得精神上的慰藉。此件香炉青白玉制成，上配早期荷塘鸳鸯炉顶为纽，炉盖镂空，以供焚香。两侧出双耳衔环，底承四足，与座相连。炉身浅刻莲瓣纹，并以金粉填之，愈显珍贵。
